Reception Class Admissions
The application process for school places begins each September and closes in January.
Applications for Hermitage have to be made directly to Cheshire East Borough Council - admissions are no longer dealt with by school itself. Cheshire East residents will be able to apply online via the Council's website. Information Booklets, with applications included, will be available on request by contacting the Council.
The application process for reception class in a primary school for September 2022 has now started. The deadline for applications is 15th January 2022.

*Please note: If your application is received after the published closing detailed above, it will be recorded as ‘late’ and considered after all on-time applications. This could mean that your application is unsuccessful.
We hold an Open Morning each year, usually in October. This is an opportunity to meet with the Headteacher and Governors of the school. Dates for our next Open Morning will be available from the Calendar on our homepage once they have been confirmed.
In-Year Admissions
Applications for in-year admissions at Hermitage can now be made direct. An Application Form, which can be downloaded from Cheshire East Borough Council's website, must be completed, these will then be forwarded to Hermitage to process https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/schools/admissions/apply-for-september-2022-school-place.aspx
Hermitage will notify parents and the Local Authority of decisions on applications.
The Council will be able to advise parents about whether we have spaces in our classes but if you would like to speak to school directly please feel free to give us a ring on 01477 532838. We will be happy to arrange a convenient time for you to come and have a look round our school.
Admission Appeals
If you have been unsuccessful with an application for a place at Hermitage, you have a legal right to appeal to an independent appeals panel against the decision made by the admitting authority not to offer you a place in line with your preference. Appeals forms are available via the link below.
Admissions to the Resource Provision for ASC
Admission to the Resource Provision is organised by Cheshire East SEND Team. Your child must have a current EHCP that shows 'Resource Provision' being named in Section I. If your child's needs are to be met in a Resource Provision, please do contact us to disucss our SEND offer. Please contact school to arrange this.
